What is Conversion Tracking?

Conversion tracking measures whether conversion events, such as purchases, occur after a user clicks an ad. By setting up conversion tracking, you can verify whether ads led to actual business outcomes, proving ad effectiveness with data.

Conversion Events

Currently, conversion tracking operates based on the Purchase event. When a Purchase event occurs within the attribution window after a user clicks an ad, it is recorded as a conversion for that ad.
Support for additional conversion events beyond Purchase is planned for future updates.

Attribution Window Setting

The attribution window is the period during which conversions are attributed after an ad click.

If a conversion event occurs within the attribution window from the time a user clicks an ad, it is counted as a conversion for that ad. Conversions occurring after the attribution window expires are not counted.

How to Set Attribution Window

  1. Click Events in the console left menu.
  2. Click the event for conversion tracking to open the detail modal.
  3. Set the attribution window to your desired value.
  4. Click the Save button.

Attribution Method

Conversion tracking uses Last-touch attribution. Even if a user clicked multiple ads before converting, the conversion is attributed to the last clicked ad. Example
  1. User clicks Ad A (March 1)
  2. User clicks Ad B (March 3)
  3. User completes purchase (March 5)
→ The conversion is attributed to Ad B, the last ad clicked.

Conversion data is processed in hourly batches, and it may take up to 2 hours for data to be reflected in reports.

Conversion performance for campaigns with conversion tracking enabled can be viewed in the campaign report.

FAQ

Currently, only the Purchase event is supported for conversion tracking. Additional conversion events will be supported in future updates.
Open the event detail modal on the Events page in the console and set the attribution window between 1 and 90 days. The default is 7 days.
Conversion data is processed in hourly batches and may take up to 2 hours to be reflected in reports.
Using last-touch attribution, conversions are attributed to the last ad clicked before the conversion.
