Splash ads are full-screen ads that appear first when users launch the app. They are displayed during app loading, achieving high visibility. As display-only ads without click functionality, they are effective for brand awareness.

Creatives

Registration Steps

  1. Click the Add Creative button on the campaign detail screen.
  2. Upload an image that meets the specifications.
  3. Enter the creative name.
  4. Click the Submit button.
Since splash ads don’t have click functionality, you don’t need to enter a destination URL or CTA button.

Dark Mode

If the publisher supports dark mode, you can register separate images for dark mode.

Display Duration

The time before the ad automatically closes is set by the publisher. Typically between 0.5 to 3 seconds.

72-Hour Advance Lock Rule

Splash ads are pre-downloaded to user devices and displayed immediately when the app launches. For this reason, creatives and schedules must be finalized 72 hours before campaign start.

Why Advance Lock is Needed

  1. Creatives are cached on user devices starting 72 hours before campaign start.
  2. Cached information enables immediate ad display when app launches.
  3. Ensures stable delivery regardless of network conditions.

Important Notes for Changes Within 72 Hours

Changes made within 72 hours of campaign start may cause the following issues:
