What is an Ad Unit?
An Ad Unit is simply a frame (space) where ads can be displayed. It refers to an area where code is embedded in a specific location of an app or website to display ads, and Ad Control fills this Ad Unit with the most appropriate creative in real-time. Each Ad Unit has a unique Ad Unit ID. Through this ID, the system identifies where the ad request originated and delivers ads that match the size and format.Types of Ad Units
These are the main Ad Units available in Ad Control.| Formats | Description | Features |
|---|---|---|

| Rewarded | Provides in-app rewards upon completion of viewing | Less resistance as users voluntarily choose to watch |
| Native | Ad that naturally blends with content design | Minimizes resistance with less apparent advertising feel |
| Popup | Displayed as a popup on part of the screen | Bottom/center positioning with various closing options |

Why is Ad Unit Management Important?
Simply adding more ads doesn’t increase revenue. The key is which Ad Units you place and where.- Placement Strategy: Placing appropriate Ad Units where users’ attention lingers increases CTR.
- Diversity: Rather than relying only on banners, mixing in Rewarded ads or Interstitial ads can maximize revenue (eCPM).
- Optimization: Analyze performance by Ad Unit on the Dashboard, and try changing the position or format of Ad Units with low revenue.
