Ad Product Targeting Settings Redesign
- Location Change: Targeting settings moved from Step 1 to Step 3 of ad product creation.
- Product-specific Premiums: Different premium rates can be applied per ad product, even for the same targeting.
- Estimated Target Size: Preview estimated target size when creating ad products and reserving campaigns.
- Sub-option Details: Console can now view detailed sub-options linked to the targeting options selected by advertisers.

Backfill ads are now automatically displayed during times when direct ads are not available, allowing you to capture revenue that was previously missed. Supported for banner and native ads, you can enable Backfill ads from the [Ad Units] menu.Console (Publishers)- [Ad Units] → Click the ‘Enable Backfill Ads’ button in the unit list to activate
- Select Web SDK integration status in the confirmation dialog, then click ‘Enable Backfill Ads’
- After requesting, the unit status changes to ‘Processing’, and once connected, Backfill ads will automatically serve when no direct ads are available
- This feature only affects publisher inventory management; advertisers’ direct ad execution methods remain unchanged
- Native units must have the headline option enabled in image or ad text items for ads to display properly
- First-time Backfill ad activation requires an initial integration process (Adrop will contact you separately)
- Backfill ad revenue is settled in the month after next
- Android/iOS rewarded/interstitial units and Web native units will be available later
Dark Mode Creative Support Feature Launch
Ad units now support dark mode creatives. You can run ads optimized for both light mode and dark mode environments with a single unit.Console- Dark mode creative receiving can be enabled for banner, popup, splash, and native ad units
- When turning on the dark mode option during unit creation/editing, advertisers must upload both light/dark mode creatives
- From SDK 1.6.0, dark mode can be selected when requesting ads
- When registering creatives for dark mode-enabled units, both light/dark mode images must be uploaded
- Registered creatives are automatically displayed according to the publisher app’s dark mode environment
- Video does not support dark mode creative feature
- Splash dark mode preview background color setting removed
Payment and Billing Information Improvements
We’ve enhanced the payment system to support international advertisers and global business expansion.Billing Information Required- Billing information (including billing address) is required when creating campaigns and changing plans
- Billing country follows the country setting in [Console/Ad Account] → [Ad Profile]
- Edit billing information: Ad Account in [Management] → [Payment & Billing], Console in [Management] → [Revenue Payment Info]
- Save billing information and payment methods to a payment profile for easy import when creating new consoles or ad accounts
- Access from Console/Ad Account top-right profile → My Payment Profile menu
- Admin: Can register/edit billing info and payment methods / Viewer: Can use registered payment profiles

Popup Ad Performance Optimization
You can now add a CTA (Call-to-Action button) to the bottom right of popup ads. This ad UX has been proven to improve click-through rates by approximately 30%.Setup Method- Turn on advanced options in popup ad units to select button template type

Popup Carousel Ad Limit

Campaign Duplication
Easily create new campaigns by duplicating existing ones.Basic Usage- Campaign detail page top-right 3-dot menu (⋮) → Select [Duplicate Campaign]
- Campaign duplication is not possible if units in the ad product have been deleted or if modifications are needed in the unit set
- Duplicated campaigns are saved in ‘Draft’ status
- Draft campaigns are not visible in the Console
- Status changes to ‘Under Review’ only after agreeing to campaign terms and final submission
- Duplicated campaigns are visible in Ad Account even in ‘Draft’ status
- Manual payment campaigns are automatically approved without review after final submission
- Card payment campaigns can be finally submitted after the advertiser completes card payment in the Ad Account
International Payments
International advertisers can now pay for advertising using Stripe.Key Policies- International payment fee: 5.5%
