> Guide to campaign revenue settlement and Ad Control infrastructure billing.

## What are Revenue Settlement and Billing?

There are two financial flows in Ad Control.

### Revenue Settlement (Money Publishers Receive)

When an ad campaign ends, publishers receive settlement for ad revenue.

* **Campaign Revenue**: Settlement of the publisher's share from the campaign budget paid by advertisers
* **Backfill Revenue**: Settlement of revenue generated from backfill ad networks when there are no direct ads

### Infrastructure Billing (Money Publishers Pay)

Infrastructure costs based on Ad Control platform usage are billed monthly.

* Pay-as-you-go billing based on ad impressions
* Free usage quota provided according to subscription plan
